Toyota Motor Engineering Egypt (TMEE) operates as a pivotal link in Toyota's regional automotive supply chain, focusing on four main business streams:
1.Assembly Outsourcing: TMEE manages and coordinates the outsourcing of vehicle assembly, particularly with the Arab American Vehicles (AAV) plant, ensuring compliance with Toyota's global quality and operational standards.
2.Vehicle Quality Control: TMEE monitors and enforces Toyota's rigorous quality control benchmarks across all stages of assembly and component integration.
3.Supply and Demand Management: TMEE oversees forecasting, procurement, and allocation of critical components and assembled parts in alignment with Toyota production plans.
4.Logistics Management: TMEE coordinates inbound and outbound logistics, including import of CKD kits and regional distribution, minimizing lead time and maximizing operational efficiency.
