I am looking for some advice on how best to manage the quoting process of bespoke projects in Odoo. At the moment, we use a "cost card" in excel which means the estimator can manually list all the parts with their estimated cost, proposed supplier and lead time. However, a big part of what we do is customisation which means we also have to add lines in for contingency.
Is there a way to capture all of this within Odoo itself? I wondered if creating a project and then using RFQ's if this could work, however we wouldn't raise an RFQ against a supplier for contingency.
How are you all costing custom quotes like this that aren't just a mix of standard products and services?
