We are looking for hardware with which we can record the presence of our employees on the construction site. Ideally, this hardware should be able to read the employees' fingerprints and use them to identify the employee when attendance is recorded. Does anyone have experience with this way of time attendance with a hardware that can be integrated into odoo attendance?

Yes, it’s totally possible! We’ve seen setups using fingerprint devices like ZKTeco (e.g., F18 or S922 for construction sites) that can integrate with Odoo.
You’ll need a device that supports an open API or can push logs, then use a small custom connector to sync the data with the Odoo Attendance module.
If you're using Odoo.sh or on-prem, integration is very doable. Let me know if you need help picking a device or connecting it to Odoo!
