Hello all,

New to Odoo 17. For my every sales order and the invoice generated, assigned sales person is receiving 2 emails per SO & INV. 

It is really annoying and flooding inboxes since we have daily more than 200 SO and INV generated. I am new to Odoo V 17 and not able to find any option to disable it. I just need email settings so that my accountant can send follow up reports to customers. other than that we have no use for this email notification. can someone please suggest a way to stop this.

In Developer Mode, create an Automation from Settings --> Technical --> Automation --> Automation Rules

I just wanted to pop in with my solution after too much wasted time trying to manipulate Odoo to do something that should be simple. I handled this externally via email filter. I set up a broad filter: "Subject contains: "You have been assigned to", >>> send it to trash. Be more specific if you are concerned that you may miss other emails not related to Odoo.

My setting was always this. it didn't work. it still send emails.

even tried another below given suggestion. that didn't help either.

1. Activate your developer mode is enabled by going to the Settings app > scrolling to the bottom > Activate Developer Mode.

2. Navigate to the Technical tab > Views.

3. In the search bar, type "message_user_assigned" > switch the active toggle button.

You can try change Notification Type to Handle in Odoo
in User Settings, Preferences tab
