Unable to delete contacts of employees | Odoo Crm Sales

Question

Hi Team,

At time of user creation tick to contacts was enabled due to which contacts got created. Now I don't want contacts but want user.
I want to delete contacts but not the user. When I am doing so same is throwing error :
"You cannot delete contacts linked to an active user.
You should rather archive them after archiving their associated user."
Please help to get me out of this situation.

Hi,
Here's what you can do to resolve this:
Archive the Associated User:
Go to the user management section in Odoo and find the user associated
with the contact you want to delete. Archive that user first. Delete the Contact: Once the user is archived, try deleting the contact again. You should now be able to delete it without encountering the error.
