Quote a product in cost per meter and then in quantity

Question

Hello comunity, I have a problem with this case
We are dealers for different products one of them are band saws, 1 same model can be sell in different sizes.
example: A customer requieres 5 band saws of X model and size in meters is 3.75, by using UOM in meters it calculates well when I add this producto to the sales order, but I need to quote five of this items and not 18.75 meters in total, is there a way to do this?

Using product variants could be an option.
If the sizes (3.75 mts) is fixed then you could define them as attribute values else it can be custom to be noted at the time of order. The sale order would then be for band saw X model 3.75 mts Qty5
The limitation is that product UoM would need to be in units
