I have a product with bom of type "Kit", this product has 2 components. The first component has a bom of type "Manufacture" and another component with no routes set. I have already set the routes required for this component 2 as Manufacture and Replenish on Order in order to create an MO upon confirmation. The thing is whenever I confirm the SO, no MO is created. I checked the reason and it was because of the quantity of the component that needs to be manufactured. When it is set from 1 to 8, no MO is created, above 8 a normal MO creation process is done. What is the reason for this thing?

Hello Ecis, thanks for testing. I think I found out the problem, Product 2 which is set as Manufacture Product have some quantities in it. When I did an inventory adjustment and changed it to 0, a manufacturing order is created now.

Just a wild guess: Have you set up reordering rules with a figure in 'Quantity Multiple' ?
Not at all, I have checked all the options that could stop the process, but none of them gave me a hint. I am assuming that its something related to reservation of quantities, I am not sure if I am right
Please provide more images about your products config
Product 1 have a bom of Product 2 and Product 3
Bom of Product 1 is set as Kit
No routes set on Product 1
Product 2: Bom of type Manufacture
Routes: Manufacture + Replenish on Order
Components: Just raw materials
Product 3: Product with Buy route
Hi Moe, I just tested on demo db, everything seems ok with your config.
