Can I deliver a product later from my Point of Sale?

Question

I would like to deliver my products in a second stage as many of my customers call me to do the order but they need it to be delivered on a specific date. I need that my cashiers register the order from the PoS frontend and plan the delivery for the asked date.

To do so, you can activate the *“Allow ship later”* option in the *PoS configuration*.

Once activated you will have the option to ship later when you proceed to the order checkout. From the *V16.1* you will be able to choose the delivery  None [1] date from Odoo frontend.
A delivery order in/ “ready”/ stage is directly created in the backend. This delivery will need to be validated manually in the Inventory application.
