Using Odoo v9 (online), when I create a product I have to enter the accounting (income account, expense account, etc) each time.  Is there any way to make these default to certain accounts, or when I duplicate an item have it transfer to the new product?

You can define such defaults in "Sales/Configuration/Products/Product Category".

I have those fields set up, yet when I create a new product in that category it does not enter that account info in automatically

Possible that this is a bug with our database?

*EDIT*

I figured out what was going on.  The defaults do work for the product category, they just do not display on each individual item.  When I go to create an invoice for that product, the correct accounts do show up
