you can set reordering rules on that product with min/max quantities then when it reaches the min you could automate replenishments by choosing the required route "method" buy, manufacture, resupply..

Note: make sure to set vendor on product form if you choose "buy" route, also it will automatically run if you choose "Auto" trigger -> it manual it will appear in replenishment overview
