Hi Sean,

You can easily restrict the access to whole Accounting Dashboard by restricting access to Menu Item.

Odoo Menu: Technical -> Menu Items - > Accounting /Dashboard ( if you do not see this Menu, activate Developer Mode (about Odoo -> Activate Develper Mode).

So if you want to restrict the access, create a new Access group and assign only to those uses that shall be able to access.

The rest of users willl not see this Menu at all.

The second option is to create a ' Record rule' where you cn define the specific Accounting journals (IDs of journal) that users cannot access but this is quite advanced.
