I was watching the Basic Invoicing video, and our generous Amy mentions (by minute 8:22) that depending on your options, you may need to deliver before invoice.
We'd like to have that option - invoice without deliver. How do we change that?

In Sales --> settings --> You can choose invoicing policy of your own.
you can choose invoice what is ordered option then you can invoice for the products that customer ordered
or if you want to change invoicing policy for a product you can configure it in the products master
