Check "Multi currencies" on the users' profile under settings. Then go over to "Accouning --> Configuration --> Miscelleneous --> Currencies".

Find the required currnency and open it. In the tab at the bottom you should now be able to provide the current exchange rate based on the real world with a date.

Thank you very much Ludo, but I want to update the rates automatically. For this now i am using "currency_rate_update" module. This updating the rates from as per ECB. But i want rates from "Reserve bank of india".

Ah I see. I'm sorry but in that case I'm afraid I cannot help you, for I have no experience with those modules. Maybe you can modify the module to make it check for RBI? Check the way the module now connects and collects the ECB ratings.
