I was thinking if there is any example or module that would validate UK Post Codes? Lets say preventing entering invalid postcodes?
Any examples and help would be appreciated

Hello Darius,
Either you can store the postcodes in database table and then can check the postcode from the table or you can integrate any web service which validates the postcode and returns the result.

I did some work documenting a module that credativ in Rugby put together for address handling. I'm not sure if it handles postcodes but it will work with geographical areas that you define very nicely.
I just finished an addon for Odoo and I can check is post code actually exist/is valid or already terminated. But still without connection to the streets :( need more data :)
