I am trying to confirm the purchase order in openerp 7.0 and i am getting the error as There is no purchase journal defined for this company: "Shop 1"

It seems that You are creating Purchase order for Shop 1 Company and There is no Purchase journal defined for Shop1 Company. For this, Go to the Accounting --> Configuration --> Journals --> Journal. Create a new journal with type = Purchase for Shop1 company. Hope this will help you.

I'm using Odoo free version and I don't have access to accounting module. Is there any other way?
Hi I know its been years after this but if any of you guys have this problem right now, in the community version you can go to Invoicing>Configuration>Journals instead of the Route stated by Priyesh Solanki.
