When I select the TAX report From Month To Month , it shows right records , then when select Close Entry shows another records it looks showing for deferent period of time . I tried all possibilities with fascial year and Tax periods , nothing working .
Please advise if anyone can help .
This is really troublesome as the tax filing through closing entry requires manual changes and its becomes quite a mishap....
Quickbooks was really good with it, i regret shifting from them!

I had this same issue in the UK. I lodged a VAT return for the period 1 October to 31 January and the correct figures were lodged to HMRC; however, the tax report that was created and recorded against the closing entry was for 1 January to 31 March.
I contacted support and was advised that it is standard Odoo functionality that the Tax Report can only be generated for periods that align to the calendar year and any requirement otherwise requires customisation. I am yet to look into the customisation option.
