Prerequisites: 

• IOT Box needed

• Only works with Mettler Toledo Ariva Products (we tested the S model)

1/ Switch off your IoT Box

2/ Connect your scale to the IoT box. Two options : 

• Connect the scale with a serial directly in USB 

• Connect the scale with RS232 serial cable. In this case you’ll need an adaptor to link the RS232 and USB. This might need to be purchased separately. 

3/ Power on your IoT box again. Your scale will be recognized by the IoT box and you will be able to link it in your POS Configuration. 

Remark: 

If your scale does not work after the cable connection, it could come from the scale configuration.

3.1 = 0 (if you use USB, select option 1 instead of 0)

3.2 = 3

3.3 = 1

3.4 = 0

3.5 = 1

3.6 = 3
