I am trying to post a General Ledger journal to a bank account that I have in a foreign currency. I can't seem to get the result I want when I look at the "General Ledger" report. What I am expecting to see is the amount in the "currency" column to show the foreign currency amount, and the amount in the "balance" column to show the home currency equivalent.

There are two places in the journal entry where the currency code can be selected - in the journal header, and against each journal line. Please can someone advise whether I should choose the foreign currency code or the home currency code for the journal header, and also which one I should select for each journal line?
