Python developer with a few years of Odoo experience here. I have no experience with contributing to open source projects.
I'd like to know what are the common ways of contributing to Odoo/OCA, my motivation being to further community efforts, get some practice and a bit of mentorship through reviews.
What is the best way to contribute, just browse the issues on github and pick the ones that aren't already solved and submit PRs ?
That's a good start and very welcome, but before read the documentation about contributing and the guidelines on Odoo's website as well as on the OCA website (they are slightly different).
