Odoo’s Rental app does not natively integrate with the Sign app, which is why the “Sign Documents” button and Digital Documents option don’t appear. If you’re on Odoo Online (SaaS), the workaround is to generate a Sales Order from the rental order and use Sales’ built-in Sign integration. On Odoo SH or on-premise, you can install or build a custom module to add a “Sign Agreement” button directly on rental orders. It’s not a bug, just a missing feature by default.
