The product form looks different in Odoo 17.4, how can I make products Storable or consumable like I used to?

From the Release Notes:
In Odoo 17.4 the product form has been revamped but you can still make your products tracked or not (storable vs consumable).
- When you select Product Type: Goods and check the box that says Track Inventory, that essentially makes it a Storable Product.
- When you select the Product Type: Goods, and keep the box that says Track Inventory unchecked, that essentially makes it a consumable product.
This is change that I do not like when Odoo upgrade. Confusing for users. Not described in release notes, so surprise, surprise.

I do not like it either, because I use the type in server actions and when printing labels.
Now I have Python exceptions because the type does not exist anylonger. Grrr...
In additon , the combobox in Dutch says :
TRACK INVENTORY (checkbox) ;
- By uniqie Serial number (OK)
- By lots (ok)
- No tracing
(instead of By quantity)
This is REALLY confusing !
