I am setting up a bakery POS, inventory, manufacturing and accounting module.

If I have a donut but with different flavors, should I create a new product for each donut flavor?

Option 1 (new product for each flavor)

Product 1: Chocolate Donut

Product 2: Strawberry Donut

Options 2 (product variation)

Or should I create one product with variants (i.e. flavor)

1. Donut with chocolate, strawberry variants

I will eventually add BOM, etc.
