Where can I find the Up/Downstream Traceability in odoo v8?
Is there a replacement for this?

Peter,
Odoo removed those 2 links and kept only one "Traceability". You can see it under Serial Numbers menu. I have added a screenshot. Please check it out.
Thanks for your answer. But I think it's not the same functionality as in version 7. I cant see the products of my BoM with their serial numbers in a nice, expandable tree view. it was possible in v7.
