odoo.py scaffold to create an empty module in V8 doesn't produce all files

Question

I'm trying to create my first module by following instructions from docs (https://www.odoo.com/documentation/8.0/howtos/backend.html#build-an-odoo-module), but it seems that the scaffolding command doesn't generate proper files.

It only generates 3 files : demo.xml, templates.xml and security/ir.model.access.csv.

The generated module doesn't appear in local module screen.

I'm using the official docker image.

This is due to a bug in python packaging (https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/5393).

Python files are missing from scaffold templates. Workaround is to copy them manually from sources (https://github.com/odoo/odoo/tree/8.0/openerp/cli/templates/default)
