In the book "Streamline your Manufacturing Processes with OpenERP" which you can download from the Facebook page of Open ERP chapter 5.4.3 describes sales forecast. But I can not find this option in the sale menu in V7. Does sales forecast not exist in V7?

You are talking about the stock_planning module, it is not available in OpenERP 7.0. You can port it though, it is a very handy module
Thank you. Yes that is the module I have been looking for. Do you know if it also forecasts and plans the input material needed to produce the forecasted products by using the BoM or does the forecast not include the raw materials?
