Security lead time for purchase does not seem to work

Hi,
To account for unforeseen vendor delays, the system will produce
Purchase Orders for product procurement that are many days earlier than
intended.

hi, it works, but not good. it works to the past. put security days with '-'
Do you happen to know why it does not work , is it a bug?
even with "- " it does not work
