I use customer loyalty points at the point of sale

The customer receives 5% of the purchase amount as points at the time of purchase. My problem arises when the customer wants to return the items. At this stage, the points he received are not deducted and remain in his points total.

Hi 

 Issue is that in Odoo POS loyalty points, when a sale is returned, the system does not automatically deduct the points that were originally given for that sale.

This is a known gap in the default POS loyalty mechanism. By default:

  • On sale → points are calculated and added.

On refund → Odoo treats it as a negative order but doesn’t recalculate/deduct the loyalty points unless you explicitly handle it.
