Velo VZW
Velo vzw verhuurt en herstelt fietsen. Ze bieden mensen met een beperkte toegang tot de arbeidsmarkt of die het Nederlands niet machtig zijn eeneerste werkervaring en warmt hen op voor de arbeidsmarkt. Gumbys stak dit nobel initiatief met plezier een handje toe in de vorm van een ERP- totaalpakket.
Velo vzw werkt nauw samen met verschillende partijen, waaronder de KU Leuven. De vzw beschikte niet over genoeg transparantie en rapportering naar hun partners toe. Bovendien was er nog heel wat tijdrovend manueel werk en kon het kassasysteem wel een update gebruiken.
Zei daar iemand Odoo? Het startschot werd gegeven met het pilootproject Velokadee, waarbij ze fietsen verhuren aan kinderen. We maakten een mapping aan, tekenden de bedrijfsprocessen uit en keken na wat nodig was om alles in Odoo te capteren. Naast de basismodules van Odoo werd er ook gebruik gemaakt van enkele gepersonaliseerde modules om alles zo efficiënt mogelijk te laten verlopen. Dit project loopt momenteel op wieltjes en het is de de bedoeling om het project verder op te schalen naar de studentenfietsen en de herstellingen. Tenslotte zal er een koppeling met de KUL- infrastructuur voorzien worden om nog meer te automatiseren. Transport / Logistică
