Hi,
In Odoo 19 Enterprise, the Social Marketing module differentiates access based on user roles. A Social User can create and manage their own social media posts, schedule them, and view basic analytics for their posts. They can also access the Settings page of the module, but their actions there are limited—they cannot change global configurations, manage social media accounts, or control other users’ posts. Essentially, they are contributors who can handle their own content and see the setup, but cannot modify the overall system.
A Social Manager, on the other hand, has full access to all features of the Social Marketing module. They can create, schedule, approve, and publish posts for any user, manage social media accounts, oversee campaigns, and view detailed analytics and reports. Social Managers can also access the Settings page and make changes to global configurations, manage connected accounts, and assign tasks or permissions to Social Users. This role gives full control over both content and the module’s setup.
In short, Social Users are content creators with limited Settings access, while Social Managers are administrators who control both content and module settings.
Hope it helps.
