I know it is possible to create a filter in each model to find the activities I have created on the model - e.g. follow up on a sales order, or on an invoice, due by date by person x.

My question is however, how can I create a view that overarches all modules, to make a view of all activities across different models witch the activities I have delegated?

I can achieve this by going in dev mode - settings - technical - activities; however, using studio I cannot get the link to the related object of the activities. Any help would be great

Thanks for that Paresh; this allows me to create the same view as in my initial question. I think the main problem is that I don't see how I can create - in tree view or form - a link to open the related object on which the activity has been created. It is a list of sales orders, invoices, holidays,... all relating to different models. My 'simple' idea would be that if I click on the name of the related object (i.e. SO123) the object opens in form view with the chatter and next activity view. Any suggestions more then welcome

Dear @Paresh

How can I display the button "View document" from my new app > form view ?

I can see it from technical settings > activities.

Thanks.

Hi Herbert:

One option would be to go into one of the existing modules and add a new menu item based on an "Existing Model" and select "Activity" (mail.activity) as the model on which the view will be based. This will create a custom view based on the activity model which you can then customize to your needs. Make sure you turn off create, update and delete in the view.
