Hello!

I would like to import a .po file to translate an addon (odoo v8). Here is the process that I follow:

- I export the po file

-I translate it on poedit

-I import it

-I disconnect from odoo

-I delete my internet history

-And finally I connect again on my odoo instance but there is no translation...

What do I miss? Could someone help me?

How can I put that po file in a module?

Create the i18n folder and put it inside

Best Answer

Try to put that translated .po in a module and install it or update it.

#Other tips:

Update this po elements at the beginning of the file:

Project-Id-Version: with your Odoo release version

POT-Creation-Date and PO-Revision-Date: with an updated date
