I need to export an information about some of the products quantities to CSV file. Not all of them but of some categories. When I sort them by categories, select and try to export Odoo says that "Exporting grouped data to csv is not supported."
Is there any other way to select products to export without clicking them all one by one?

You can filter the product category which you want to export, select the fields required in exported file and then export the data.

Do you use the group by feature or do you filter the categories you want to export ?
When you select entries that are grouped by, they are exported with a particular lay-out.
Maybe the CSV format can't handle it.

Yes, I do group products as you described in order to select faster what I need, but Odoo does not let to export it to csv. I wonder if there is another way to select products
