I am trying to understand the models hr.leave and resource.calendar.leaves. Both seem to hold similar fields, so I'm confused about how they should be extended in a custom module. Both are integrated with hr_holidays module, but only hr.leave is used in related hr_holidays modules (e.g. hr_holidays_gantt) while resource.calendar.leaves is used in hr_work_entry. Is there a reason for the redundancy?
