hi all,
please recommend a web server (Tomcat, Nginx etc.) for odoo 14 installed in Ubuntu 18.04 as VM in VMWare. this required to connect from another machine(s) - ( not the HOST machine )
if any link to configure, will be highly appreciated.

Odoo has its inbuilt web server, so Tomcat is not an option. I assume you are talking about a reverse proxy. In this case there are multiple options, one is Nginx, as mentioned by Yenthe. This is probably the most popular option and it is described in the Odoo documentation: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/14.0/setup/deploy.html#https
My preferred option is to use Caddy Server, which is much easier to configure, see my post here:
thanks much, will check this. i tried Nginx but it is showing error and i can't go further for odoo configuration with Nginx. i will search for installation guide to Caddy Server for Ubuntu 18.04, hope this will work as mentioned. with regards.
