I would like to know how can I update all the odoo modules at once, I know that I should write -u all but I don't know where to exactly put it or after what line it should be.
The way I already do this and work was upgrading the module "base" but I don't know if this is correct.

The second version is correct. Concerning the first version, this depends on your Odoo version, your OS and your installation method.
