Odoo is a web service application. Therefore it is already published and running on the server localhost. If you want to make Odoo accessible from other local computers, you have to set your local IP address instead of localhost (and open your firewall, if any). If you want to access it from public, you need a public IP address or you have to install a proxy server with a public IP address in front of Odoo.

Do you mean how to install Odoo in the server ?
Niyas Raphy actually I need to know how can I run odoo 8 on server instead of localhost
first of all you have to install it in the server.
