PoS: Use non-EAN13 Barcodes with barcode scanner

Question

Hello,
Our customer currently has set own Barcodes like this: 100831

As I found out after a while of searching is, that PoS only Supports EAN-13 Barcodes for scanning, and if i generate a barcode with this: 100831 it says no product found.
Is there a way to make it work with the current setup of barcodes?
(The Customer has around 3k of products at the moment, so Aliases for each Product wouldn't work)

Hi

Odoo follows a barcode nomenclature,usually it follows EAN 13 , but in the rule of Barcode Nomenclature we can add its Encoding format like EAN -13, EAN -8, UPC-A,GS1 - 128
after configuring Barcode nomenclature you can add it in the Pos settings ,
