Can anyone help me know how to configure the customer account and the supplier account for a customer or a suuplier.
I couldnt understand how can a customer have a supplier account.
Please need an answer.

Because there might be use cases, where a customer can also be a supplier. This is due to the common generic partner pattern.
what if the customer can not be a supplier??
Then you just check only "Customer" in the "Sales & Purchases" tab.
