Yes, you can do it. There is a module called delivery that provides this functionality.
Either install the delivery module or follow the given steps to install/enable the module:

Once, the module is installed, go to Inventory/Configuration/Shipping Methods and configure/create a shipping method as per your need:

This way you can configure the shipping method which will be applied to e-commerce.
