I'm using Odoo17, I cannot change new Saudi Riyal currency symbol in my system. Is there any way to add the same?

Thanks but there is no setup file , only i use WinRAR to extract
what should i do
A setup file is not required. You can simply download the file, add it to the addons path, and install the module. May I know which Odoo version you are using?

✅ Steps to Add Saudi Riyal (SAR) in Odoo 17

Go to Accounting App
Open the Accounting module from your Odoo dashboard. -
Enable Developer Mode
- Click on your name (top-right corner) → Settings
- Scroll down and click Activate the Developer Mode

Go to Currencies

In Accounting module, go to:
Configuration → Currencies

In Accounting module, go to:

Search for Saudi Riyal (SAR)
- If it's already listed, you can just activate it by clicking on it and enabling the Active checkbox.
- If it’s not listed, click Create.

Create Saudi Riyal Manually (if needed)
Fill in the details:- Name: Saudi Riyal
- Symbol: ﷼
- Currency Code: SAR
- Position: After Amount (optional)
- Rounding Factor: 0.01
- Active: ✅
- Save the currency.

(Optional) Set SAR as your company’s default currency
- Go to Settings → Companies
- Choose your company → set Currency to Saudi Riyal (SAR)
