I am trying to configure child taxes (TPS/TVQ) to display for Quebec/Canada invoices and I cannot find a proper way to do this. It calculates the correct amount, but it is not ventilated for the invoice - the tax amount is simply grouped into a "taxes" line containing the total of both... I need to display each tax's amount separately.

(I have an image...but I do not have the possibility to link it...not enough karma?)

I have tried to simply replace the file models.js, indicated in this github fix (https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/58a481329eb1ec4074a08e12b89fdbd2aaa35343) but it still does not work, I get the same behaviour.

I have also tried to apply this person's approach (https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/tax-base-column-in-invoice-other-info-47663). This does did not work for me either...and curiously, this person's approach does not seem to mention requiring any code fixes.

My products are configured to use the TPSTVQ_SALE configuration..is this correct?

I am using Odoo 8 installed (via rpm file) on CentOS 7 which, otherwise, works perfectly.

Would someone please help me clue in on how to get this fixed?
