Hi,
You can edit if the invoice status = DRAFT.
Otherwise you have to Cancel Invoice.
you need to install module "account_cancel journal".also follow this link https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/how-to-set-journal-to-allow-cancelling-entries-29355
there is no other option than cancel the Invoice
