Hi,

I'm new to Odoo, and I'm trying to take control of an existing installation. I managed to get the invoice template pdf export as I wanted, but after that, I realised that the "Sales" option was suddenly gone.

I do have the "Sales" module installed.

Any idea for a solution? My goal is to make the option appear again in the main dashboard.

Hi,

Please check the below cases

1) Check you have administration access for sales fromsettings -> user & companies -> users -> Select the user -> Check the user have administration access for sales


2) Check the menu items of sales do not have unwanted groups Settings -> Technical -> User interface -> Menu items -> search for sale


3) Upgrade the sales moduleApps -> search for sales -> upgrade

Hello, 

In case of uninstall the module, you've lost the all information. 

In the place of uninstall you can update the sales module again and check it. 

Also, this cases case happen in that case the menu permission was changed or anything else.

I have the same issue. I can't launch the update as solution, since I'm using the free version. Wouldn't be any problem in my DataBase connection if I uninstall and reinstall the "sales" module? Or it would destroy all my previous configuration?

it seems you may removed some access. Please check the sales access under settings >> Users.


Also you can try to upgrade sales module to reconfigure the entire configurations.

Everything seems to be ok in this area. I can't attach any picture due to my account state as new member in the forum, but it shows my user as "Responsible" on the "Sales" application permissions.

Go to Settings

Users & Companies-> Users

Open the account and check the sales access rights enabled or not.

Please choose appropriate access ights and check.
