Hello,
When we scan the barcode '0 745604 300001', we receive the message that the barcode '745604 300001' does not exist meaning that the scanner do not read the leading 0.


We tried to set the barcode as '0 745604 30001' or '745604 30001' for the corresponding product in odoo but the product is never found.


We are using a symbol scanner configured in 'French international (Belgian French).'


What can we do to solve it?

Hi Nico,

You can try by removing in between spaces in barcode in product form.

'0745604300001'

Have you tried to scan the barcode into a text editor, and view the result? You need to figure out first if it's the scanner that leaves the 0 out or net
