Hi everyone,
I’m currently working with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (OE12+) and exploring options to set up a Customer Portal for our users. I have a question about the requirements:
Is the Website Module (such as Oracle iStore or a similar web module) mandatory to implement a Customer Portal in OE12+?
Specifically:
- Can the Customer Portal functionality be enabled without a dedicated website module?
- Are there any alternate ways to provide customers with access to order status, invoices, or service requests without the website module?
- What are the best practices or recommended modules/plugins for setting up a customer-facing portal in OE12+?
- Any experiences or tips on licensing or configuration related to this?
