Hello everyone,


I would like to share a concern regarding contact management within our different companies. Currently, when I create a contact in the first company and assign it a barcode, I see that this contact appears in the second company, but without the associated barcode. I'm wondering if it's possible to guarantee that no matter where I create the contact, it keeps the same barcode across all companies. In other words, I'm looking for a way to have the barcode automatically sync between different companies when creating a new contact.

The barcode is company dependent

which mean each company will expect to have different value or may be same . So your behaviour is correct.

In case u want to sync it for all company , u can use automated action

I understand, I would prefer the barcode to be the same for all companies, since the contacts are also common to all companies. However, when I tried the code you provided me, I encountered an error.

I encountered an error when creating and modifying a contact.

Don't try the code i send, it is the field definition i give you lol
