In that case, you can consider using our module https://viindoo.com/apps/app/15.0/to_attendance_device, it will fetch data from the machine and put it into a different table and then synchronize those datas with odoo attendance. if you interested, please contact via sales@viindoo.com
No, it is not possible to get the data from a standalone (usb connected) device. You have to use either ADMS or push-data supported device to connect with odoo server. Check if the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHgdOWkrd-A&ab_channel=CamsBiometrics helps
