Perhaps I am understanding this wrong.


I have a big customer and we sell them goods intended for a few different sectors.

Like say we sell them goods inteded for 'Health' and for 'Industry' sector.


I have setup analytic accounts for those.


Upon creation  of the sales order i set the analytic account. And that shows up nicely.


The sales creates a (dropship) purchase order. But in the purchase order, the orderlines do not have the analytical account set.

Which i had expected would be the case.


I can add them manually but this should not really be within the knowledge of the purchase department.

Also, with a lot of purchase order lines, we have to do a lot of clicks to set the analytic account on each and every line.


Am I doing something wrong, is my understanding of analytic account wrong ?

And is there a solution to make this easier ?

if you dont need to have customization:

- you can link your analytic account to the product in the analytic account setting or link it to your customer also.
