Hi,
If you are using the odoo community edition, this feature has been removed from it. This is now part of the enterprise edition.

It is worrisome that while free accounting solutions are increasing year by year the functions of the CE version are decreasing

I use community version. The manual lettering feature is really essential in accounting management. Indeed, this possibility of lettering existed in the old versions
