i do have a virtual IOT Box set up on my server (Running on an Windows VM) but it has quite a high response time.
I have created a custom ZPL template with odoo studio, which works fine. I did connect this layout to my printer which is connected via the IOT Box.
But when i press on print it takes ~2-5seconds until the label starts printing.
If anybody has a solution for this, please let me know.

its the latest version, Odoo 18. (Odoo Custom Enterprise Version), hosted by Odoo.
For testing i had an Odoo 18 Community service running on another server. It´s super fast with this setup.
I will try to install Odoo IOT locally on my machine and connect it.
It´s a ZPL Label with round 200 bytes.

Can you give more info about your version of Odoo and IoT ?
I assume there is no problem in your network configuration or your VM bridge.
what is the size of the generated report?
